Process in recommending the proposed WSH policy to the management

for support & approval

WSH requires a demonstrated commitment from management to make the

necessary human and financial resources available to drive the risk management program and to facilitate change of organizational attitudes and culture

After consultation from the relevant stakeholders, the proposed WSH policy

should be recommended to the management for their support and approval

through the following ways:

• Highlighting the needs and importance of the WSH policy

• Presenting the policy statements

• Explaining the rationale of the policy statements

• Promoting the benefits of the proposed policy statements

• Drawing attention to the implication of the policy statements

• Providing advice on the resources that would be involved for implementation
